African Mahogany Parlour

Rich, resonant, rounded tones emerge from this warm, relaxed guitar. Made from the highest quality African figured mahogany, this mellow instrument feels instantly comforting in your hands. The remarkable design uses mahogany, a perfect and established tone wood for the back, sides, top and head stock, all vibrating with a beautiful balance; the curly Honduran mahogany carved neck and the Gaboon Ebony fretboard connecting at the 14th fret, feel active and alive as you play. The waterfall bubinga rosette seems fluid to your eyes and the polished softness of the pink ivory bridge saturates the design with colour; this is a truly beautiful guitar. Finished in oils, it shimmers as the light catches it. As you play, it dances, and to the audience it offers images of age-old professionalism in a youthful body.

Details:

The binding is chen chen, the kerfing is Spanish cedar, the red accents are dyed red European pear. The bridge pins are East Indian rosewood and brass, and the classical tuners are Gotoh. There is a bone nut and a bone saddle and the strings are light gauge steel and silk.
